BOYS

Karl Zoellick (Lincoln-Way East)

Zoellick helped lead the Griffins to a third-place finish at the Fenwick Tournament; LWE beat Neuqua Valley, Naperville North, and St Ignatius to improve their record to 7-2 on the season, and Zoellick led the team in scoring over the weekend.

In Thursday's 10-6 win over St Ignatius, he scored 4 goals, then added 7 scores in the Griffins' 14-8 victory over Naperville North. He finished the four game set with 20 total goals.

Earlier in the week, he scored 8 goals in the Griffins' 13-8 win over Lockport, as the team improved to 2-0 in the SouthWest Suburban Conference.

GIRLS

Katie Doyle (Lyons)

Scored 7 goals in LT's victories over Stevenson, Evanston, and Waubonsie Valley and finished as the team's leading scorer in the Lyons Tournament. The Lions improved to 8-0 on the season at the end of the weekend.
