third week of the season. This is not a complete list and we can only
include a few people in this summary, but the purpose is to recognize a
few of the best performances from each week.

Boys - Mike Begrowicz (Mundelein)
Scored 3 goals to lead the Mustangs to their
second win over Stevenson
Boys - John Blankenhorn (Libertyville)
Scored game-tying goal in win over Lake Forest
and provides Wildcats with solid depth
Girls - Joanna Curran (Lyons)
Can score, distribute the ball, and provide
solid defense and has helped the Lions move up to the #7 ranking after
three weeks
Girls - Meg Schroeder (Evanston)
Provides the Wildkits' with another offensive
option; scored 6 goals at the Lyons Tournament

Boys - Max Kryzminski (Sandburg)
Scored the game-winning goal with :07 seconds
remaining to lift Sandburg to a 9-8 victory over Homewood-Flossmoor
Boys - Nick Santoro/Mike Byron (Barrington)
Teamed up to record the winning goal/assist in
sudden-death overtime in a 12-11 upset win over Mundelein
Girls - Lisa Torii (St Viator)
Scored from seven meters with 0:38 seconds
left to lift the St Viator to a 9-8 win over Elk Grove on Monday
Girls - Anna Biondi (Highland Park)
Tallied 5 goals to lead the Giants to a 10-9
overtime win over Hoffman

Made 8 steals and added 4 goals in a 9-8
victory over Conant
