overtime to send Lyons to the state tournament with an 11-10 victory over
Brother Rice.
Joe Kamper

Joe Kamper scored with nine seconds remaining in the
fourth quarter to give Sandburg an 8-7 win over H-F and a berth in the state
tournament. Kamper scored 3 goals in the win for the Eagles.
Max Saltzman
(Naperville Central)
Max Saltzman scored the game-winning goal in the final
minute to give Naperville Central a 9-8 win over Neuqua Valley in the
Sectional finals.
Greg Spigelman
(Stevenson)
Greg Spigelman's goal in the final period led Stevenson
to an 8-7 victory over Mundelein at the Vernon Hills Sectional.
GIRLS
Story Pumphrey
(Homewood-Flossmoor)
Story Pumphrey scored the game-tying and game-winning
goals in the final three minutes of H-F's 6-5 win over Lincoln-Way East in
the Sectional finals. Pumphrey totaled 4 goals, including the game's last
goal with just twenty-six seconds remaining.
