Max Kryzminski/Cody Siemeck

Max Kryzminski scored 20 goals in Week 4, including a
14-goal performance at the Brother Rice Tournament over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Cody Siemeck recorded 19 goals over the course of the week,
leading the Eagles in scoring at the Brother Rice Tournament with 15 total
goals.
The Eagles finished in third place at the tourney,
beating Loyola, Waubonsie Valley, and DeSmet (MO), while they ended in a tie
with tournament champion Brother Rice before losing in a double-shootout.
Kryzminski also recorded 6 goals and Siemeck added 4
scores to lead the Eagles to an 18-12 win over Lincoln-Way Central on
Thursday.
Sandburg remains undefeated in the Southwest Suburban
Conference (2-0) and has posted an overall record of 8-2 for the season.
GIRLS
Morgan Bonk/Lisett Calderon
(Fenwick)
The combination of Morgan Bonk and Lisett Calderon proved
to be too difficult to contain over the weekend, as the two players totaled
33 goals to lead the Friars to a 4-0 record at their own tournament on
Friday and Saturday.
Bonk scored 18 total goals in the four-game set, starting
with 4 goals in a win over Stevenson on Friday night, then finished the
evening with 5 scores in a victory over New Trier. She tallied 6 goals in a
win over St Ignatius and finished the tournament with 3 scores in a 9-8
victory over Mother McAuley.
Calderon totaled 15 goals in the tournament, leading the
Friars with 4 goals in their narrow 9-8 victory over Mother McAuley. She
added 4 goals against Stevenson, 3 scores against New Trier, and scored 4
more goals in a win over St Ignatius on Saturday.
Fenwick improved to 8-0 on the season after the weekend.
