Rick Farmer (New Trier)

Rick Farmer led the Trevians to a 3-0 record and the New Trier Tournament title over the weekend with a 14-goal performance in wins over Fremd, Conant, and McHenry.

Earlier in the week, Farmer scored 3 goals to help New Trier beat Glenbrook South 13-9 in the Central Suburban League matchup.

As the leading scorer this season for the Trevians, Farmer has helped New Trier earn a 14-0 record after six weeks of the 2007 season.

GIRLS

Christa Pappas/Christine Byron (Barrington)

Christa Pappas and Christine Byron helped lead the Fillies to the York Tournament title on Saturday with a 4-0 record after wins over York, Lyons, Andrew, and Naperville North.

Both girls scored 6 goals apiece in Barrington's 19-3 win over Palatine on Tuesday in the Mid-Suburban League contest, while they both helped lift the Fillies past Fremd 3-2 on Thursday night to remain undefeated in the conference.

Barrington improved to 10-0 in the MSL and 17-3 overall for the season after posting a 6-0 record in Week 6.
