Luke Ginger (St Rita)

Luke Ginger played a big role in St Rita's 3-0 record in Week 4 and also helped the Mustangs jump to the #10 spot in the rankings on April 1.

Ginger scored the game-winning goal for St Rita with just thirteen seconds remaining as the Mustangs defeated Loyola 13-12 on Wednesday night. Ginger scored 6 goals in the win for St Rita, who improved to 3-3 in the MCAC and 8-4 overall.

Ginger added 3 scores as St Rita knocked off St Viator 14-9 in the MCAC matchup on Monday night. Ginger also helped the Mustangs also beat Oak Park 6-5 on Thursday

GIRLS

Maggie Wood (Mother McAuley)

Maggie Wood scored with :01 second left in regulation to help #1 Mother McAuley to a 13-12 victory over #4 Loyola on Wednesday night. Wood scored 3 straight goals and helped McAuley take an 8-5 lead late in the quarter, and she led all scorers with 6 goals and kept McAuley undefeated in the MCAC (4-0) and improved their overall record to 9-0.

Earlier in the week, Wood scored 2 goals as McAuley used a 4-0 second half run to pull away from #3 St Ignatius 7-6 in the MCAC contest at UIC on Monday night.
